Heidi Ullrich, author of the IFAT (the World Fair Trade Association) study, is Programme Officer in Trade in Services at the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) in Geneva, Switzerland. Previously she was Global Trade Coordinator at Consumers International in London and lectured at the London School of Economics, where she also received her PhD.
Her publications include pieces on accountable leadership of the G8 and the WTO in M. Fratianni et al. (eds), Corporate, Public and Global Governance: The G8 Contribution (Ashgate, forthcoming), on the consumer movement for The Encyclopedia of Globalization (Routledge, forthcoming), on trade in services in S. Hajnal (ed.), Civil Society in the Information Age (Ashgate, 2002). She also authored ‘Putting Consumers at the Heart of Trade: Recommendations for the WTO Ministerial and the Future of the Doha Development Agenda’ (Consumers International, 2005).
