Several publications will follow the Citizen Learning for Global Democracy workshop in Delhi.
This two-page docuement will summarise the main observations and urgings that came out of the workshop on the subject of citizen learning global democracy.
This document will be translated into Arabic, Chinese, French, Hindi, Portugese, Russian and Spanish. The translated versions will be available on the BGD website shortly.
Designed for practionars these toolkits summarize the workshops main propositions for wider consideration, further debate, and action.
These summaries will cover the main ideas of each of the papers commissioned for the Delhi workshop, as well as their implications for action to promote global democracy. These statements will also be translated into 8 languages on the BGD website.
Authors will rewrite the papers presented in Delhi in the light of the workshop discussions, looking in particular to have the pieces speak across regions, cultures and disciplines. Anand Kumar and Jan Aart Scholte will take the lead in editing the papers into book form..
