The BGD Programme is facilitated and coordinated through a convening group of ten persons (five men and five women) based in ten world regions. The convening group is at the core of BGD and is involved in every stage of its work. Each convenor brings something unique to the project. Whether that be through their academic discipline, cultural experience or ideological position. However, uniting this diversity is a shared concern to enhance democracy in global affairs.The office team logistically supports the programme, organising its workshops and communications.
