Peter John Aitsi is theCountry Manager for GHD PNG. Peter plays an active role in many successful Papua New Guinean organisations, in most cases leading these organisations. He has been at the forefront of the PNG media industry running a multi-million dollar media organisation broadcasting to very remote and difficult parts of PNG. He has also served his community through his voluntary roles as President of the Media Council of PNG and Chair of Transparency International PNG. Peter has served both of these organisations for over a decade alongside his full time employment. He currently chairs the Digicel Foundation, and his contributions through the Foundation impact the lives of many Papua New Guineans, helping to improve communities by supporting health and education projects. Peter has a significant and positive reputation in PNG and has been able to use this to mobilise community and civil society engagement and to help generate public goodwill towards the organisations he has led.
