Learning Global Lessons!

The Learning Global Democracy project has specially commissioned ten studies from around the world.

Each paper tells of innovative ways that people - including in particular marginalised circles - can acquire empowering understanding of global affairs.

The studies examine, for example, new university curricula, popular universities for grassroots activists, knowledge of indigenous peoples, learning through global-local links among NGOs, and the pedagogic possibilities of satellite television, new digital technologies and performance arts.
