Dealing with issues surrounding Conceptualising Global Democracy, the Cairo workshop promoted intercultural debate and discussion centring on how Global Democracy itself can be conceived.
The role of the discussants, coming from both civil and official backgrounds, was to question, debate, and discuss the concrete, global implications of each author's paper. The discussants include:
